After watching The Younger Brothers Band in Wyoming over New Years Eve Geoff’s interest in country music was re-sparked. Geoff made the move to Nashville in 2006 to pursue a career in country music. After hearing the intro on Josh Turner’s song “Your Man” Geoff fell in love with the pedal steel guitar, so he contacted one of the best in the business, and long time friend of the family Jim Vest, Vest agreed to get him started, and give him lessons. During one of his lessons Jim made him sing while he was playing and Geoff’s singing caught Jim’s attention, shortly after that they went in the studio and recorded four songs. Geoff took his demos home to Wyoming to play for his family and friends, his sister wanted a copy of her own, so Geoff made her a copy, and the next day she told him the news that she had taken it to the radio station and they agreed to play it. The next week Geoff’s song “White Collar Blues” became KLGT’s most requested song. Geoff has shared the stage with country greats such as, The Western Underground, Clinton Gregory, Jay Demarcus (Rascal Flats), Rodney Atkins, and Lady Antebelum.
